OMG! #blownawaybyyourbrilliance This is so empowering for your students. I just saw my student reading this book today (he got it from his fabulous English teacher). Now I need to order this for my classroom! Thank you for inspiring us all!

What a brilliant idea for a slice! Love how this is told through screenshots. I want to try this. Also, the story is terrific. I LOVED New Kid, and it’s been making the rounds in my Children’s Lit class. One of the most checked-out books this semester for sure.

Thanks! Isn’t New Kid SO good?! I’ve never read a book that makes microagressions so apparent. Glad your students are loving it, too!
